The library is constantly reevaluating what is the safest model of service for our staff and patrons. Changes to our service model will be announced as soon as they occur.
To pick up holds, patrons can come to the Front Door of the Library wearing a mask and with their library cards in hand. Staff members will retrieve their materials from the desk and bring them to the patron waiting at the Front Door.
All materials will still be returned to the Drop-Bin behind the library which will remain open 24 hours a day. Materials will be quarantined for several days upon return.
Patrons are encouraged to place holds using the online catalog (video explanation below) and staff members will be answering the phones during regular open hours. When your materials are ready for pickup, you will be notified how you normally are.
Virtual Programs, including Facebook Storytime and Virtual Book Club meetings, will be posted and held as scheduled during this period.
