Horsham Library Volunteer Corps

Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks and activities.

Here are some of the ways volunteers can help:

How To Volunteer

The library prefers volunteers to be at least 16 years old.

People interested in volunteering can contact Circulation Supervisor Stephanie McKenna by email at smckenna@mclinc.org or by calling the library at 215-443-2609. Please leave your name, a way of getting in touch with you (home phone number and/or email address), and tell us a little about yourself (are you a student, a retiree, an adult with a special area of expertise, etc.)

The library uses a volunteer application that you can download from the library's website. It helps us find out how to contact you, what your interest are, and when you are available to volunteer. To download a copy of the volunteer application, click here: Volunteer Application

People may also volunteer if they have at least 40 hours of community service to complete as part of a court order. Please let us know what jurisdiction has imposed the community service requirement (give us a contact name, telephone, and address for someone who is supervising your hours), tell us how many hours you must complete, and by what deadline you must complete your community service.

Library Director Laurie Tynan would be glad to attend a meeting of your organization to make an informal presentation about the library if you like. Please call or email to make arrangements. Thanks for your help!
