Horsham PA Library
Library users may access the following databases from computer workstations located at the Horsham Township Library.

Many of these same databases can be accessed "remotely," that is, from a computer at your home, school or office. When using remote access, you will be asked to type in your library card's 14-digit barcode number to validate you as a user covered by the terms of the applicable subscription contract.

Morningstar Investment Research Center: an on-line investment research tool providing analysts’ independent opinions on 1,700 stocks, 2,200 mutual funds, and 300 exchange rated funds. Morningstar lets users build and test portfolio ideas online, and provides financial education through its Investing Classroom.

EbscoHost magazine index
EbscoHost: a suite of periodical index databases that contain citations and full-text articles in magazines, newspapers and documents of interest to students of all ages, business people, teachers, and general readers.

EBSCO Legal Reference Center
EBSCO Legal Information Reference Center contains more than 220 full-text publications (many from the Nolo Press series of consumer oriented legal guides) and thousands of legal forms you can use to create and print documents such as rental agreements, wills, personnel forms and more.


Zinio is a collection of over 100 downloadable magazines you can read via the browser on your computer or using an App on your portable digital device. To use Zinio, click the Zinio icon to link to the Zinio website and create a new account. Follow the directions in the  Zinio for Libraries - Library Collection and Check Out Guide. Download the Zinio App from the app store for your eBook reader, smartphone, or tablet PC so that you can take digital magazines with you wherever you go.

Ancestry Logo

 Ancestry.com is a genealogy website from ProQuest that enables users to search US Census records, immigration records, birth/marriage/death records, newspaper and historical stories, photos and maps.  It also offers a downloadable ancestral chart for users developing their family genealogy.  This database is only available for use inside the library; there is no remote access from home.

Booklist Online
is an on-line version of a journal that publishes reviews of books, movies and recordings by librarians and publishing industry professionals. Booklist also publishes themed articles and lists of award-winners.

Mango Languages
Mango Languages is an on-line language learning program. You can learn nine foreign languages (Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, Spanish) or complete three ESL (English As a Second Language) courses. The 100-lesson courses provide a deep understanding of each language and its culture.

Used by entrepreneurs, businesses, students, job-seekers or anyone wanting access to information on tens of millions of businesses and hundreds of millions of consumers in an easy to search format. Remote access is available from home, school or office. To log-in remotely, please have your library card number handy. You will need to enter your 14-digit number to log-in.
