Commonwealth Workforce Development System Pennsylvania's one-stop on-line resource for job seeker services, employer services, social services and training. You can set up an on-line account and create a resume, search for job openings listed with the CareerLink Center, and check the schedule of workshops and training programs offered by the CareerLink Center in Norristown to help job seekers.
Career One Stop: Sponsored by the U.S. Dept. of Labor, this website offers a variety of resources focused on different aspects of employment: job seekers, businesses, students, and career professionals.

Occupational Outlook Handbook: the U.S. Dept. of Labor's encyclopedia of jobs and careers, with forecasts of future employment trends for occupations listed.

O*NET ™ OnLine. O*NET, the Occupational Information Network, is a comprehensive database of worker attributes and job characteristics. As the replacement for the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT), O*NET will be the nation's primary source of occupational information.

Rebecca Smith's eResumes & eResources: Online since 1995, this site provides information on Electronic Resumes & Online Networking and career development skills necessary in today’s global, electronic workplace.

Pongo Resume is a full-service web site for active job seekers and career-minded individuals at every level. Starting with the quick-and-easy Resume Builder and Cover Letter Builder, Pongo provides everything you need to create, store, and distribute top-quality resumes and cover letters, and keep track of all the people, data, and documents that can contribute to your success. Basic services are free. You can upgrade on a subscription basis if you wish.

Resume Tutor, from the University of Minnesota's Office of Human Resources, won't actually write a resume for you. It will teach you a lot about how to write a resume.

CareerBuilder: owned by Gannett Co, Inc., Tribune Company, The McClatchy Company, and Microsoft Corp., CareerBuilder offers online & print resources for job seekers. FlipDog crawls the World Wide Web and links to job openings found on employer Web sites.

Indeed.com: Since 2004, Indeed has given job seekers free access to millions of jobs from thousands of company websites and job boards. The website logs over 50 million unique visitors and 1 billion job searches per month. Indeed is available in more than 50 countries and 26 languages,

One Day, One Job: One Day, One Job is all about introducing college students and recent grads to exciting companies and their entry level jobs. Each day the website focuses on one employer and the jobs that they are offering for recent college graduates.

JobCircle.com: an Internet recruiting website that allows you to search within major metropolitan areas for listings of vacancies.

Linkedin.com: a social networking site that specializes in professional networking. It lists many job vacancies, searchable by keyword and company name.

Monster.Com: connecting people to job opportunities across the globe.

Hot Jobs: a Yahoo website for job-hunters.

Job.Com: a site that offers job postings for employers and job seekers, as well as helpful career information.

PA Career Link: Pennsylvania's one-stop on-line resource for job seeker services, employer services, social services and training.

USAJobs - "Working for America.": This is the official job site of the United States Federal government, maintained by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.

PA State Civil Service Commission: the official website for the Pennsylvania Civil Service listing opportunities, testing schedules and salary information.
