Teen Game Nights
Once a month on Friday from 5 to 8:30 PM.

Test your skills with other teen gamers in 6th to 12th grades at the Horsham Township Library. Teens are encouraged to bring in their own systems and teen-rated video games to share.

The library will provide board games, snacks, and several video projectors for that (almost) arcade experience! Gamers must arrive no later than 6 PM to participate.

Program funding is provided by the Friends of the Horsham Library. Pizza is provided by Friends of the Horsham Library. Thanks!

Open Mic Nights!
Perform coffehouse style for your friends or come and watch the fun!

Friday nights (after the library closes for regular business) its meeting room will transform into a cabaret to host music, poetry, comedy and magic. Open Mic Nights are for adults and teens ages 15 and older. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Horsham Library.

For more information contact Reference/Young Adult Librarian, Barbara Svoboda by phone at 215-443-2609 x extension 202 or by email at bsvoboda@mclinc.org. If you are a parent of a teen gamer and would like to help with chaperoning the library's teen game programs, please contact Barb Svoboda. She would welcome the help.

Program funding is provided by the Friends of the Horsham Library. Refreshments are provided by Friends of the Horsham Library. Thanks!

The Library Wants You…for the Teen Advisory Board

If you are in sixth through twelfth grade, are ready to be an active part of the community and like free food, you are the ideal candidate for the Teen Advisory Board at the library. In addition to planning fun programming for themselves and other teens, those who join the T.A.B. will have the opportunity to help choose materials like books, movies and music for the library’s collection.

T.A.B. is a fun way to earn community service hours for school, clubs and societies and a great way to meet new people. In addition, service on the Teen Advisory Board looks fantastic on resumes and college applications.

Interested teens can fill out a T.A.B. application and drop it off at the library or contact Reference/Young Adult Librarian, Barbara Svoboda by phone at 215-443-2609 x extension 202 or by email at bsvoboda@mclinc.org.
