Horsham resident Scott Brown is an engineer, high school teacher and avid outdoor photographer. He has published numerous photographs and articles in nature magazines. His first book, Pennsylvania Waterfalls: a guide for Hikers and Photographers, was published in 2005 by Stackpole Books. He is a member of the North American Nature Photographers Association.

Scott Brown hiked into places far off Pennsylvania’s beaten paths researching and photographing locations for his book Pennsylvania Mountain Vistas: a Guide for Hikers and Photographers. Ideal conditions for taking photographs in the best light often meant overcast skies and light rain, conditions less than ideal for safe hiking. He had unique encounters with wildlife and chance encounters with other people pursuing their own adventures in Pennsylvania's natural places, such as the parasailer launching her glider from Tuscarora Summit in Franklin County.
The exhibit on display from the last week of February through March 20 features outdoor photographs, including a spectacular image of a hang-glider Scott Brown encountered during one of his hikes. Photographs show the splendor of Pennsylvania landscape in all seasons of the year, from snowy crags in winter through colorful hillsides in prime leaf-peeping season. Many of the photographs in the exhibit are available for sale.
