What is AskHerePA?

Ask Here PA is a service for Pennsylvania residents, Pennsylvania students, and/or Pennsylvania-related questions. It is an on-line interactive reference service that uses on-line chat to connect you to a librarian who can answer reference questions or direct you to appropriate sources of information. It is staffed by librarians in public libraries, college libraries, and by independent librarians working under contract funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Please note, the Ask Here PA link will not connect you to the Reference Librarian at the Horsham Township Library. If you would like help from the library's Reference Librarian during normal library hours, please telephone the library's reference desk at 215-443-2609, extension 202. Ask Here PA is intended to help you after the library is closed or when you are not able to visit the library in person.

Ask Here PA is designed to provide fast answers to your questions, using information found on the Internet and in proprietary databases funded by libraries. In most cases, Ask Here PA Librarians will provide an answer online in 15 minutes or less! If your question involves lengthy research, we'll get you started and/or provide a referral for you or your question and/or offer to do additional research and follow-up with you via e-mail.
